PolyOne Recognizes UGL Unicco Performance - Safety
UGL Unicco has received a Supplier Performance Award from PolyOne.

UGL Unicco, a subsidiary of UGL Limited, has received a Supplier Performance Award from PolyOne. UGL Unicco was the only service provider to receive the designation this year in recognition of its outstanding operational performance and safety record.UGL Unicco has delivered under-budget performance at all of its service sites in 2009, saving PolyOne $1.5M through August of this year. UGL Unicco has also continued its flawless safety performance record with zero OSHA-recordable and lost-time incidents this year. In doing so, it also attained a 10-year OSHA incident rate of 1.4 versus the industry average rate of 8.0.
UGL Unicco has adopted the Lean Six Sigma initiative and instituted management and associate team training. The company actively supports PolyOne’s technology and innovation programs through the implementation of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technologies across PolyOne’s warehouse and manufacturing operations.
