Our approach to RFM centers on developing practices that are based on equipment-failure modes. Implementing predictive maintenance technologies can reduce the need for time-based tasks. Modifying equipment that is already running smoothly can actually cause — rather than prevent — problems, thereby diminishing productivity and reliability. To avoid this, we evaluate the condition of the equipment and eliminate unnecessary scheduled repairs.
